Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of the Hanriot H.D.1 of Capitano Guilio Lega of 76ª Squadriglia. Lega’s Hanriot is unusual in that it has been fitted with a second Vickers machine gun. Like many Italian pilots, Lega got his start on the ground and then started with a unit flying two-seaters. In Februrary 1918 he joined 76ª Squadriglia, where he flew with pilots such as Scaroni and Michetti and scored five victories. After the war he completed his suspended medical training and continued his piloting, this time in tourist sightseeing aircraft.
