Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Nieuport 17 Ni.3592 of sottotenente Giovanni Ancillotto of 80ª Squadriglia. This eleven victory ace was known more commonly as Giannino or Nane. He joined 80ª in June 1917, when he flew 44 missions in 45 days, but it was not until October that he scored his first victory. It is not 100% certain whether top-wing roundels were applied, never applied, or painted over; I have opted for top-wing roundels. The underwings are painted in green-unpainted-red sections as was typical for Italian planes at this time.
