Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Nieuport 17 N3139 of tenente Fulco Ruffo di Calabria of 70ª Squadriglia. The first Nieuport 17’s received from France were sent directly to top pilots in the Italian Air Service, including N3139. The rudders and under-wings were painted over in Italian colors, but the top-wing roundels were simply (and not fully) painted over in white. The eighteen-victory prince added the personal skull motif to the fuselage.
