Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of a Salmson 2 of the 88th Aero Squadron, U.S. Air Service. The brown and gold cowboy emblem was the logo of the 88th. The 88th started with Sopwith 1½ Strutters in May 1918, a plane type that had seen its debut back in the spring of 1916. But they upgraded to much more modern and capable Salmson 2 in the second half of July, to their great relief.
No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use. The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card. You can find an unofficial plane card for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery on this page.
