Description

This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of a Salmson 2 of Escadrille SAL122.  The Salmson 2 was one of France’s most important two-seaters in 1918 (along with the Breguet 14), finally giving France a set of strong, modern, and capable two-seaters to replace obsolete A.R.2, Sopwith, Letord, and Farman designs.  This is an early-model Salmson 2A2, still in aluminum-dope paint.  (Later models used French five-color camouflage.)   The four-leaf clover is the unit insignia for Escadrille SAL122.

No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use.  The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card.  You can find an unofficial plane card for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery on this page.
