Description
This is a full-color 3D print of Vickers F.B.5 #1649 of №11 Squadron, as flown by Captain Lionel W.B. Rees and Flight Sergeant J.M. Hargreaves. In July and August 1915, Rees and Hargreaves shot down a Fokker E.I and four two-seaters, making them the only “Vickers Gunbus aces”. Rees (with Flight Sergeant Raymond) shot down another two-seater on 31 Oct 1915, and he added two more in 1916 while flying an Airco D.H.2. After this he was moved to an air training school where he served the rest of the war.
