Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of the Fokker E.IV (123/15?) flown by Hauptmann Oswald Boelcke of Feldflieger Abteilung (FFA) 62. Boelcke was considered the Father of Air Fighting Tactics, having come up with the “rules” of fighter air combat in the form of the Dicta Boelcke. He recruited and mentored many of Germany’s greatest pilots, including Manfred von Richthofen, Max Müller, and Erwin Bohme. He scored a remarkable forty air victories between July 1915 and October 1916, when he collided with Bohme’s plane and went down out of control.
No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use. The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card. You can find an unofficial plane card for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery on this page.
