Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Fokker E.IV 127/15 as flown by Oberleutnant Max Immelmann of Feldflieger Abteilung 62 (FFA62). Immelmann started his career on the Fokker E.I, but he switched to the twin-gun E.IV when it became available. One of the earliest ace-heroes, Immelmann scored fifteen victories before falling in a fight against F.E.2bs of 25 Squadron. It is still disputed whether his plane was brought down by enemy gunfire or by a defective synchronizer causing him to damage his own propeller.
