Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of R.A.F. F.E.2b №7018 of №11 Squadron, with pilot Lieutenant Lionel Morris and observer Captain Tom Rees. On 17 Sep 1916, №7018 became the first victim in Manfred von Richthofen’s long combat career. Rees was killed during the combat and Morris died of wounds after the plane was brought down and his subsequent capture. The nacelle is inscribed with “Punjab32Montgomery”, hinting at its sponsor.
