Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of the Fokker D.VII of Leutnant Max Kliefoth of Jasta 19. Kliefoth joined Jasta 19 in August 1918 and scored three victories before he was forced down and captured, by none other than Eddie Rickenbacker of the 94th Aero Squadron. The flying snake seems to have been a personal emblem, while the yellow nose and blue fuselage are Jasta 19 markings. Hugo Schäfer of Jasta 15 used a similar snake emblem, but Jasta 15 planes had a red nose.
No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use. The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card. You can find an unofficial plane card for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery on this page.
