Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of the Albatros D.V of Leutnant Josef Veltjens of Jasta 18. Veltjens, like many pilots, began by flying two-seaters, but he transferred to Jasta 14 in March 1917 and then to Jasta 18, where he adopted the blue and red livery of the unit (at that time) along with his personal barbed arrow insignia, which carried forth onto later aircraft. Veljens scored 35 air victories and survived the war.
No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use. The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card.
