Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of SPAD 13 No. 2438 of Capitano Fulco Ruffo di Calabria of 91ª Squadriglia. Ruffo was Italy’s fifth-leading ace with 20 air victories. This SPAD is an early version with rounded wingtips. The skull on the left-hand fuselage is his personal insignia, the griffin on the opposite is a 91ª motif. The roundel colors, wheel colors, and wing tank colors are all inferred from tonal differences on black&white photographs.
