Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of the Albatros D.V of Fritz Rumey of Jasta 5. Rumey was Germany’s sixth-leading WWI ace, with 45 victories, all with Jasta 5 (the “Green Tails”). He scored his first victory, a balloon, in July of 1917. In September 1918 he died after his plane collided with an R.A.F. S.E.5a and his parachute failed to open. This spiral-wrapped paint scheme would be very difficult to achieve with decals.
