Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of the Albatros D.V of Offiziersstellvertreter Otto Könnecke. Könnecke originally flew with Jasta 25 in Macedonia but transferred back to the Western Front and Jasta 5 in April 1917. He was part of the trio of NCO pilots from Jasta 5 that scored 109 air victories between them: Fritz Rumey, Josef Mai, and himself, with 35 recognized victories. In summer and autumn of 1918 he had earned a commission and numerous medals and awards, including the Pour le Mérite (Blue Max).
No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use. The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card.
