This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Hansa-Brandenburg D.I 28.38 of Flik 12/D. Austro-Hungarian ace Oberleutnant Benno Fiala Ritter von Fernbrugg scored four of his 28 air victories in this plane, ranking him as the number three ace for the Empire. Fiala had a heroic war career even before becoming a fighter pilot in June 1917. His victories in this plane included a pair of Caproni bombers. 28.38 was also flown by Frank Linke-Crawford during its brief stay in Flik 41/J.
