Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Belgian Hanriot H.D.1 №30 of Lieutenant André Emile Alfons De Meulemeester of 1ere Escadrille de Chasse (which became 9me in March 1918). de Meulemeester was Belgium’s second-leading ace with eleven confirmed air victories and sixteen unconfirmed. After retiring in summer 1919, de Meulemeester never flew again, despite living until 1973. The plane is in the style of later Hanriot deliveries to Belgium with a centered Vickers gun and French five-color camouflage. The thistle motif is a unit emblem, and the yellow cowl, wheels, and fin are personal markings.
