Description

This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Nieuport 17 A213 of Captain Albert Ball of №60 Squadron RFC.  From the beginning of his air career in Feb 1916 to his death in May 1917, Ball was one of Britain’s most prolific pilots and was its most popular and leading ace during the mid-war period.  He scored eleven victories in A213.  We don’t know much about the plane’s camouflage scheme; I have chosen to depict it in four-color camouflage in the style of early French Nieuports, with clear-doped linen on the underside.

No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use.  The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card.  You can find an unofficial plane card for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery on this page.
