Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Airco D.H.9 C6293 of № 144 Squadron. 144 Squadron was formed in Palestine in the Spring of 1918 with B.E.2e’s, and it wasn’t until autumn that they were replaced with D.H.9s. The D.H.9s saw extensive use against Ottoman targets in the closing months of the war.
No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use. The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card. You can find unofficial plane cards for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery — one with Maneuver H and one with Maneuver K. The D.H.9 was just barely fast enough to make Maneuver H, but I think K better reflects its capabilities.
