Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Airco D.H.9 B7620 of Captain J. Gray and Lieutenant J. Come[r]ford of No.211 Squadron. (Sources differ on the spelling of the Lieutenant’s last name.) This plane and its pilots were interned after they were shot down by flak while flying over the Netherlands after returning from a raid. The Dutch used the plane as a trainer.
No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use. The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card. You can find unofficial plane cards for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery — one with Maneuver H and one with Maneuver K. The D.H.9 was just barely fast enough to make Maneuver H, but I think K better reflects its capabilities.
