Description

This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Fokker Dr.I 103/17 of Leutnant Werner Voss of Jasta 10.  Voss was Germany’s fourth leading ace  in WWI (tied) with 48 air victories, of which 14 were earned with Royal Prussian Jasta 10.  This represents the early triplane — technically a Fokker F.I — that he was flying during his last dogfight when he tangled with several planes from No.56 Squadron RFC.  There is some debate on whether his engine cowl had been repainted chromium yellow or remained in factory olive…this version represents the latter.  The Fokker F.I differs from the standard Dr.I by the lack of wingtip skids and some other minor differences.

No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use. The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card.  You can find an unofficial plane card for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery on this page.
