Description

This is a full-color 3D print of Sopwith Snipe E8069 of Captain Thomas Charles Richmond Baker of №4 Squadron Australian Flying Corps.   Baker began in the field artillery and transferred to the flying corps in autumn 1917.  He arrived at the front in June 1918 and initially flew Camels before No. 4 was re-equipped with Snipes.  He scored twelve air victories before he was shot down on 4 Nov 1918 by Karl Bolle of Jasta Boelcke.  E8069 is an early-model Snipe with normal ailerons and the short fin.

No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use.  It comes with an integral flight peg for mounting on game flight stands (not included), which can be carefully removed with a cutting tool, if desired.  The peg is designed for a fairly tight fit; you can file it down slightly if you prefer a looser fit.  The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card.  You can find an unofficial plane card for this plane in this paint scheme at https://linen.miraheze.org/wiki/File:SopSnipe-Baker-card.jpg or in the gallery above.
