Description
This is a full-color 3D print of the Sopwith 1A2 (1½ Strutter) of Sgt. Justin Usse (pilot) and Lt. Gabriel Cochet (observer) of Escadrille Sop 24. After the rudder pedal of this plane broke in mid-air, Usse guided it back to friendly lines, only losing the undercarriage during landing. The star is an Escadrille 24 emblem, but we’re uncertain of the origin and veracity of the sun symbol on the top wing.
