Description

This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Bristol F.2B A.7288 of №11 Squadron, as flown by Captain Andrew E. McKeever and 2nd Lieutenant Leslie A. Powell in November 1917.  Canadian McKeever was the highest-scoring Bristol ace with 31 air victories in the type.  On 30 Nov 1917, these two were credited with sending down four Albatros D.V’s in a single day.  Remarkably, McKeever’s run only went from the end of May 1917, when he joined №11 Squadron, to November 1917, when he was given command of a new Sopwith Dolphin unit that never made it to France.   Powell was credited with at least 19 victories as observer.

No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use.  The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card.  You can find an unofficial plane card for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery on this page.
