Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of the Albatros C.I of Leutnant Kurt Freiherr von Crailsheim of Feldflieger-Abteilung 53. von Crailsheim started with the infantry but transferred to the aerial service in December 1914. He started on Albatros two-seaters like this one but graduated to Fokker eindecker escorts. He was injured in a crash in December 1915 and never recovered. The colored bands on this plane’s sides are thought to be the colors of his family crest.
No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use. The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card. You can find an unofficial plane card for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery above or at https://linen.miraheze.org/wiki/File:AlbC1-Crailsheim-card.jpg.
