Description

This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Fokker Dr.I 450/17 of Leutnant Josef Jacobs of Jasta 7.   Jacobs was Germany’s fourth-leading WWI ace (tied) with 48 air victories, and 43 of them were scored with Royal Prussian Jasta 7.  The figure on the side of the black triplane is a “fire-spitting devil’s head”.  Jacobs, normally an easy-going fellow, could become quite angry if a poor maneuver put one of his pilots in danger, and the logo was added to his plane after someone remarked that he was spitting fire again after a pilot landed.

No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use.  The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card.  You can find an unofficial plane card for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery on this page.
