Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of the Halberstadt D.III of Vizefeldwebel (Non-Commissioned Officer) Hans Müller of Jasta 5. Müller likely scored Jasta 5’s first air victory on 31 August 1916 and became one of its earliest aces. After scoring his ninth victory, he was severely wounded in December 1916 and never returned to combat, instead acting as a test pilot for Siemens-Schuckert starting in 1917. After the war he moved to Mexico where he ran a flying school, and he eventually immigrated to Texas, USA, where he died in 1977.
