Description
The Belgian Air Service also flew the B.E.2c, sometimes upgrading them with Hispano-Suiza engines, synchronized forward-firing guns, and pivoting rear guns. This model however represents a B.E.2c in its original configuration, with a pivoting Lewis mounted between the crew and a second one for use firing between the struts and beyond the propeller on either side. This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of R.A.F. B.E.2c Serial No. 4461, #7 of 4me Escadrille in the Belgian Air Service, flown by Crombez and de Woelmont. On the fuselage side is “Mayrett” in script, presumably an associate of the crew or nickname for the plane.
