Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Hansa-Brandenburg C.I(Ph) 26.09 of Flik 23. At Flik 23, 26.09 was flown by Hauptmann Heinrich Kostrba, who scored five of his eight air victories on this early Phönix-built aircraft. Oberleutnant Johann Frint, with six victories, was his observer on 29 June 1916 when they shot down three Italian aircraft. This plane is in a natural finish and features a top-wing fuel tank rather than forward-firing gun. As the war progressed, 160hp-engined C.I’s like this one were relegated to training, in favor of C.I’s with 200-250hp engines.
No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use. The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card. You can find an unofficial plane card for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery above.
