Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Nieuport 24bis N3772 of Sergeant Andrew Courtney “Court” Campbell of Escadrille SPA124, the Lafayette Escadrille. It is not certain what the “BAT” legend means, nor the device on the plane’s deck behind the cockpit, but Campbell was photographed with this machine in July 1917. He once survived losing the entire lower left wing of a Nieuport 23 while practicing maneuvers. Campbell was shot down on 1 Oct 1917 when he engaged four Hannover CL.IIIs while flying his SPAD.
No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use. The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card. You can find an unofficial plane card for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery on this page.
