Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of SPAD 7 S1436 of Podpolkóvnik Alexander A. Kozakov of Russia’s 1st BAG. Kozakov was Russia’s highest scoring ace with between 20 and 32 air victories. (20 officially because the Russians only counted victories over Russian-held territory.) While most of the planes in Kozakov’s unit had a white skull on a black rudder, Kozakov reversed the colors on his planes. There is some debate over the color of the cowl rings, but this model depicts the blue and gold of Kozakov’s former cavalry regiment. The plane may have been brought down in autumn 1917 while being flown by Esaul Shangin.
No painting is necessary — this model comes printed in full color, ready to use. The model does not come with a flight stand, maneuver deck, or plane card. You can find an unofficial plane card for this plane in this paint scheme in the gallery on this page.
