Description
After the war, the 94th Aero Squadron repainted many of their SPAD 13s in brilliant and dazzling color schemes. This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of the SPAD XIII of Lt. Leo Dawson in 1919 colors. The striking 1919 clover-themed paint scheme would never have been approved by the officials during the war, but it (and paint schemes like it) certainly drew attention in its post-war role as a “showbird”.
