Description
This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of Sopwith Triplane N5483 of Flight Sub-Lieutenant Ellis Vair Reid of 10 Naval Squadron RNAS. Nash was part of flight “B” of Naval 10, also known as “The Black Flight”, because of their cowling and wheel colors, as well as the planes’ nicknames. N5483 was nicknamed “Black Roger”. Canandian Reid gained a remarkable nineteen air victories in just two months: June and July of 1917. On 28 Jul 1917 he was shot down by flak.
